What Is a Gazebo?
A gazebo has a fully enclosed roof — typically peaked or octagonal — that blocks both sun and rain. Gazebos are usually freestanding and octagonal or circular in shape, creating a fully covered outdoor room. They're ideal for dining areas, spa surrounds, and entertaining spaces where weather protection matters.
Materials: What Lasts in Tennessee's Climate
Pressure-treated wood is the most common and cost-effective material. Properly treated and stained, it performs well in Tennessee's humid climate. Cedar is a naturally rot-resistant upgrade with a more refined appearance. Composite materials offer the look of wood with minimal maintenance requirements.
